    Description:

    The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures. The Endo RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care throughout the peri-procedural process, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery. The nurse collaborates with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and positive patient outcomes.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.  Current BLS certification required.

    Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

    Experience: one or two years of experience in Endoscopy, PACU, ICU, ED, or Perioperative Services.
