Shift: Weekender Program-12 hour shifts, variable start times

Primary Patient Population:
- Pediatric through Adult
- Immediate post-operative period
Primary skills utilized/learned:
- Maintain patient airway
- Assess hemodynamic stability and support
- Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status
- Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures
- Assess Wound/incision integrity
- Overall patient assessment
Personnel RN will work with:
- OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy
Number of OR Suites/Cases:
- 26 beds (Bay platform)
- 40-50 surgical cases daily

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
- PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN
- Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
