Schedule: 12 hour shifts 0730-2000 or 10 hour shifts 830-1900
- Call: 3-4/month including a weekend 24 hour call shift 0700-0700

What We're Looking For: - Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
What You'll Do: - Airway and Breathing Management: Immediately assessing the patient's airway, providing supplemental oxygen, and managing respiratory issues such as hypoventilation or laryngospasm.
- Vital Sign Monitoring:
Frequently checking and documenting vital signs to identify potential post-operative complications like bleeding, shock, or arrhythmias.
Anesthesia Recovery: Monitoring the patient's level of consciousness as they wake up, managing emergence delirium, and ensuring they regain full neurological function.
Pain and Symptom Management: Administering medications to treat postoperative pain, nausea, and vomiting.
Surgical Site Care: Inspecting dressings, bandages, and drainage tubes for leaks, bleeding, or infection.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to update them on the patient's recovery status.
