    Location: MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick

    Bi-weekly Hours: 80.00

    Shift: Rotating Shifts; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

    Join our Main Campus Operating Room!

    Primary Patient Population:

      • Variety of procedural cases (Elective to Emergency/Trauma)


      Primary skills utilized/learned:

      • Circulating
      • Scrubbing
      • Team-based Nursing


      Personnel RN will work with:

      • Surgical Technicians, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons


      Number of OR Suites/Cases:

      • 20 Operating Room Suites
      • Performs 40-50 surgical cases daily


      Awards or Recognitions the unit has received:

      • • Ranked in Top 10% for first case on-time starts among Epic users

      Required Qualifications:

      • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
      • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
      • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
      • PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
      • PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire


      Preferred Qualifications:

      • BSN
      • Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
