CLINICAL SCREEN: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 10hrs for 10 week assignment).

Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted

Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Main OR for General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, Colorectal
HARD STOP: Circulate and Scrub experience required

Ratio / Census: 16 Rooms with average daily census of 35

Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, 2 Davinci XI Robots

Scrub Color: Provided by facility

RTO: MAX 7 days

Weekends: Average 2-3 shifts per contract period

Floating: Rare

Call Requirements: 7-8 calls in a 6 Week Schedule 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shift

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

New Years Eve/New Years Day

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
