• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day/Night Rotation 0700 1900 / 1900 0700 (3 12 Hours); Rotating weekends

Job Summary

This is a Level 2 NICU travel nursing assignment located in Rochester, NY, focused on the Women's Health service line rather than critical care, serving patients 33 weeks gestation and above. The unit requires the ability to baby catch in the OR for C-section cases, and some floating to Post Partum for baby care is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Level 2 NICU patients (33 weeks and above) within a Women's Health service context
• Perform baby catch duties in the OR for C-section cases
• Float as needed to Post Partum for baby care
• Document patient care and clinical data using EPIC electronic health record system
• Participate in rotating weekend and day/night shift rotation (3 12)

Required Skills

• EPIC charting experience (required)
• Ability to baby catch in OR for C-section cases
• Comfort working in a Level 2 NICU aligned with Women's Health service (not critical care)
• Ability to float to Post Partum for baby care as needed

Education Requirements

• NY RN License required prior to submission (New York is not a Compact state an active NY license is mandatory)
• Specialty: Level 2 NICU RN

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Rotating day and night shifts (3 12 hours): 0700 1900 and 1900 0700
• Rotating weekend requirement
• Some floating to Post Partum for baby care
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
• First-time travelers accepted

Important Notes

• NY RN License must be obtained and verified PRIOR to submission no exceptions
• Candidate must be located more than 75 miles from the Rochester facility; local candidates will not be accepted
• This is a Level 2 NICU unit aligned with Women's Health (33 weeks and above) not a critical care unit
