Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level 3 or 4 Intensive Care Nursery (ICN).
- Traveler Experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers.
- Locals Accepted with rate difference applicable.
- Skills: Ventilator experience required.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP.
Job Details:
- Patient Ratios: 1:2-4.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks.
- Shift: 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15).
- Maximum RTO: 7 days for auto-offer.
- No call requirement.
- Float Requirement: Peds/PICU/nursery caring for infants up to 12 months.
- Weekend Requirement: 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays every 6-week period.
Patient Diagnoses:
- Premature infants (as low as 22 weeks).
- All types of surgical infants, hypoxic injury.
Special Procedures:
- Therapeutic Hypothermia, Nitric Oxide, UAC/UVC, PCL's, Broviac, Trachs, GTT, Ostomys.
Unit Details:
- Equipment: Tecotherm, BCPAP, Ram NC, Alaris IV pumps, Med Fusion for feedings, Servo Vents, HFOV, Baby Leo, Giraffe.
- Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR, 4P.
- Scheduling Type: Self-scheduling per unit needs.
- Orientation: 24 hours of unit orientation provided.
- Scrubs: Navy blue or white.
