Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)!
Are you passionate about providing life-saving care to our most vulnerable newborns? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. In this vital role, you'll deliver specialized care to high-risk infants during deliveries and in our Level-2 nursery, making a meaningful difference in the lives of families and their newest arrivals. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal or special care nursing of newborns
- Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Strong assessment, planning, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Demonstrated accountability for patient safety and quality of care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Level-2 nursery operations
- Previous night shift experience
- Leadership or mentoring experience in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with hospital policies related to obstetrics and neonatal care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- At least 2 years of neonatal nursing experience, preferably in a Level-2 nursery or higher
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work night shifts (7p-7a), 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday with no call requirement
- Willingness to provide coverage for Mother/Baby and Labor & Delivery units as needed
- Must complete all mandatory in-service training and safety programs
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to regulatory standards
