Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 4 months
  • Start: June 22, 2026
  • Pay Rate: $55.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Nights, 18:45 07:15 (4x12 Hours); 13 20 weeks accepted; 36 or 48 hours per week

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Patient ratios: 1:6
  • Call requirement: No
  • Float requirement: Yes; traveler may be required to float to main campus, NHRMC, 32 minutes away
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur and contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
  • Patient diagnoses include but are not limited to: Diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture, CHF, UTI, various surgical recovery cases, renal failure, hypertension, cellulitis, failure to thrive
  • Unit medication/documentation/communication system: Pyxis
  • Scheduling type: Self
  • Unit orientation: 24 hours
  • Scrubs: Navy blue or white
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • 7 days maximum RTO per contract
  • Must be able to work holidays
  • No block schedules unless a weekend block
  • Local candidates accepted

Important Notes

  • Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
  • Please provide candidate's interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting; manager will not offer without speaking to the candidate first
  • Hardstop: 2 years of experience required (non-negotiable)
