Description:
Shift: Days 3x12
Float required to other hospitals if needed
Medication System: Pyxis
1 year of EPIC experience is required
Patient Diagnoses: Orthopedics and bariatric experience, Tele unit.
Required certificates: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and SC RN license
Requiring 2 years of experience in the MS/Tele field.
Unit will review 1st time travelers but are requesting them to have at least 3 years of experience within specialty.
Floating Policy for Contracted Staff
s goal is to keep staff in their home unit.
However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns.
Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
