Travel Registered Nurse- MedSurg /PCU (Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - MedSurg /PCU for a 13-week travel assignment in Newport, VT.
Contract Details
- Nights, 7p-7a including every other wknd
- Start Date: 7/27/2026
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Location: Newport, VT 05855
- Hourly Pay: $ 34.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $ 2164.00
- Holiday Coverage Required: Yes
- EMR Used: Cerner
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition
- Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters
- Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use
- Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses’ own schedule of drugs
- Accurately reporting on patients’ progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers
- Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 5 year of MedSurg/PCU RN experience
- Must have ACLS certification
- Includes every other weekend rotation.
- This position also requires floating to other units (ED, MCH), if there is a need.
- Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties.
- Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
