Travel Registered Nurse- MedSurg /PCU (Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - MedSurg /PCU for a 13-week travel assignment in Newport, VT.



Contract Details
  • Nights, 7p-7a including every other wknd
  • Start Date: 7/27/2026
  • Contract: 13 Weeks
  • Location: Newport, VT 05855
  • Hourly Pay: $ 34.00
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $ 2164.00
  • Holiday Coverage Required: Yes
  • EMR Used: Cerner

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition
  • Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters
  • Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use
  • Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses’ own schedule of drugs
  • Accurately reporting on patients’ progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers
  • Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements


Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have 5 year of MedSurg/PCU RN experience
  • Must have ACLS certification
  • Includes every other weekend rotation.
  • This position also requires floating to other units (ED, MCH), if there is a need.
  • Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties.
  • Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
