3 x 12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Experience on a high-acuity Surgical/Trauma unit required
Must be willing to work assigned shifts (no block scheduling)
No requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Patient Population:
Surgical patients
Trauma patients
Gunshot wound patients
Quadriplegic patients
Paraplegic patients
Unit Details:
Patient-to-nurse ratio: 5:1
Nursing Support Technicians available
Phlebotomy services available
Unit secretary available on night shift
ED nurses and admitting unit complete the nursing handoff prior to patient arrival
