Registered Nurse Med Surg

Schedule: Nights | Part-time | 2x12 hour shifts 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with weekend rotation

• Deliver exceptional, direct patient care by executing evidence-based plans and carrying out physician and nursing orders with clinical precision and deep empathy.

• Champion patient safety and advocacy by continuously monitoring health conditions, identifying subtle shifts in patient status, and recording clear stories of their recovery.

• Orchestrate seamless, holistic care by serving as the primary coordinator across medical disciplines, ensuring doctors, therapists, and specialists are perfectly aligned.

• Design safe paths home by proactively assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team, ensuring patients and families are fully prepared for life after release.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of
  Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

At least a year of acute care bedside experience.
