What You’ll Do
As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, individualized care to patients while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver direct and individualized patient care using evidence-based nursing practices
- Assess, monitor, and document symptoms, changes in patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments to patients safely and effectively
- Monitor patients for any reactions or side effects of medications/treatments
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to Assess, plan, develop, evaluate and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and wellness strategies and disease prevention
- Respond quickly and confidently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Maintain accurate, detailed and timely medical documentation
- Support patients through examinations, treatments, procedures, and recovery
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN preferred
- Active New Mexico RN license
- Current BLS certification
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in a Medical Surgical setting preferred
