Required Qualifications

Job Details

  • Ratios: 1:12; Avg. Daily Census: 9; Rooms/Beds: 12
  • Shift: 40 hours, 8-hour days (08:30 - 17:00)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • No call, float, or weekend requirements

Patient Diagnoses

Diagnoses range from generalized weakness to surgical aftercare, focusing on post-surgery and surgical wounds/pressure ulcers.

Special Procedures/Unit Details

The unit provides short-term rehab (14-21 days) with round-the-clock nursing and medical support, including PT/OT and ST as required. MDS responsibilities include completing assessments, care plan development, oversight of cert/recert processes, and proper coding for new admissions.

  • Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC & EPIC chat/Voalte and Rover

Additional Information

  • Scheduling Type: Per Unit Needs
  • Unit Orientation: 24 hours after Week One Hospital Orientation
  • Scrubs: Navy Blue (not provided)
