Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, State Nursing License
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ICU, ED, or cath lab experience; previous travel experience preferred

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Cardiac Cath Lab, including diagnostics, interventional procedures, and post-procedure monitoring.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care, efficiently managing patient needs during complex cardiac procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and clinical outcomes using EMR systems such as EPIC.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, post-care instructions, and health management to promote patient understanding and compliance.
  • Execute emergency protocols and assist with stress tests, TEEs, and cardioversions during on-call hours, ensuring patient safety at all times.
