Required Skills:
- Active Kansas Registered Nursing License (KS RN)
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum of 1+ year recent acute care experience as an MS RN, preferably with step-down unit experience
- Ability to adapt to floating assignments across Medical Floor and Step Down Unit
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working in a step-down or progressive care setting
- Additional certifications relevant to acute or critical care nursing
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least one year of recent acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Flexibility for floating across different medical units
- Ability to comply with all hospital policies and protocols
