• Pay Rate: $75.00 $80.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (3 12 Hours), 19:00 7:30
• Travel Requirements: Accepts first timers (previous travel experience not required)

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse ICU position in a Medical ICU setting at a major academic medical center in Worcester, MA. The role requires float coverage to other adult ICUs as needed, and scheduling is based on the needs of the unit with no block schedules accommodated.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care in the Medical ICU setting
• Float to other adult ICUs as needed
• Adhere to scheduling requirements based on unit needs, including every other weekend and holiday coverage
• Document and chart using the Epic charting system

Education Requirements

• MA RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Required Experience

• 2 years of ICU experience highly preferred; candidates with under 2 years of ICU experience will still be considered

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift: 3 12-hour shifts (19:00 7:30)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Float to other adult ICUs required as needed
• Scheduling based on unit needs; absolutely no block schedules can be accommodated
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine: not required
