Registered Nurse (RN) ICU

Location: Philadelphia PA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | Every Other Weekend (EOW) Required

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing critically ill adult patients in a high-volume ICU setting. Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic acute care environment with rapidly changing patient conditions and advanced critical care interventions.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• BSN Required
• Minimum 2+ Years of Recent ICU Experience
• Strong experience in high-volume/high-acuity ICU settings
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• BLS & ACLS Certifications required
• Ability to manage ventilators, drips, and critically ill patients
• Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills

Schedule & Contract Requirements

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Every Other Weekend required
• Must be able to work full-time schedule for all 13 weeks
• RTO (Requested Time Off) will be reviewed carefully
• Candidates must be able to complete all scheduled shifts throughout the contract to be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients
• Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, cardiac rhythms, and IV drips
• Assess and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Administer medications, blood products, and critical care treatments
• Support patients and families through critical illness and recovery
