Job Summary:
The RN provides professional nursing care, supervises LPNs and CNAs, and ensures safe and effective delivery of healthcare services in accordance with facility policies and state scope of practice.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Document and communicate patient status and care.
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
- Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions (CPR, ACLS if required).
- Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Active state RN license or compact license (if applicable).
- Current BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
- Strong leadership and critical thinking skills.
