SUMMARY OF POSITION

Exercises delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of all hospital personnel and functions within the assigned work unit. Serves as a leader and resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact • AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred • ACLS preferred
