Location: Newark, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/11/2026
Shift: Nights (Mix: 3x8 + 1x12 = 36 hrs/week)
Weekend: Every other weekend required
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to oversee clinical operations in a 180-bed long-term care facility. The role involves supervising nursing staff across multiple units, ensuring quality patient care, and acting as a clinical resource during off-shifts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience (Charge experience required)
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/LTC
- Active NY RN License (required at submission)
- BLS Certification
- EPIC experience required
- Must live 75+ miles from facility
Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing care across all units
- Support staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
- Provide clinical guidance, mentoring, and escalation support
- Handle emergencies, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges
Additional Info:
- Facility census: ~180 patients (Geriatric population)
- Exposure to dementia, rehab, and long-term care units
- Floating required
- First-time travelers accepted
