We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Gynecologic Oncology Team. This role involves providing clinical support to patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for gynecologic cancers, including pre-operative, post-operative, and surveillance care. The nurse will play a critical role in patient education, care coordination, and clinical triage, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Education

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Experience
--------
- Previous experience in general duty nursing preferred, but not required.

- Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients individual needs based on medical conditions, age (adolescents, young adults, middle-aged, and geriatric), limitations, and planned procedures.
- Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations.
- Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off, and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime.

- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
- Complete prior authorizations for surgeries, radiologic studies, and medications.
- Coordinate care across specialties and departments to support continuity and comprehensive treatment planning.
- Educate patients and their families about gynecologic cancers, treatment options, recovery expectations, and self-care strategies.
- Serve as a chaperone during gynecologic exams and assist providers with in-office procedures.
