• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $65.00 $70.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Evening shift, 3x12 Hours; start time 3:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. *VERY RARELY FLEXED ONLY WHEN THERE IS AN URGENT STAFFING NEED*

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty at a medical center in Worcester, MA. The facility is open to contract lengths of 13 26 weeks, with scheduling options of 36 HPW or 48 HPW. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with minimal RTO and 26-week contracts.

Preferred Skills

• EPIC (Electronic Health Records system) preferred

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts (MA) RN license in hand required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
• Holiday rules: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year) may be included in RTO

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams allow only 1 attempt. If either exam is not passed, the contract is cancelled immediately. Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and FDIs.
• Candidate must be available to start 8/26.
