• Pay Rate: $60.00 $65.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift (3x12 Hours), start time 7:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. *VERY RARELY FLEXED ONLY WHEN THERE IS AN URGENT STAFFING NEED*

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room specialty at a medical center in Worcester, MA. The facility offers contract lengths of 13 26 weeks and accommodates 36 or 48 hours per week. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with minimal requested time off and to those committing to 26-week contracts.

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts RN license in hand required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• EPIC charting system preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required

Required Skills

• Must be able to read telemetry

Preferred Skills

• EPIC experience preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift position; shift start time 7:00 PM with flexibility to start up to four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need
• Flexibility for 36 HPW or 48 HPW scheduling
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination not required

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams allow only 1 attempt. If the traveler does not pass, the contract is cancelled immediately. Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and FDIs.
• Holiday policy: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year) may be included in requested time off. Priority for holiday RTO will be given to those with minimal RTO and 26-week contracts.
