Registered Nurse - ER (Emergency Room) | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Leading Facility in City, State

What You'll Do
  • Provide urgent and emergent care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics
  • Manage patients with cardiac, diabetic, renal, trauma, infectious, and other critical conditions
  • Perform advanced procedures such as IV starts, NGT tube insertion, chest tube management, defibrillation, and stroke assessment
  • Collaborate with ED physicians, support staff, and ancillary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR system
  • Adhere to safety and compliance protocols, including passing an EKG competency exam
  • Support a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of approximately 1:3-4
  • Work a flexible schedule including every other weekend, holidays, and 7-on/7-off night rotations
What You Need
  • Valid RN license in the state of employment
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ER or ED experience
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, CPI or MOAB (TNCC preferred)
  • Ability to pass an ER-specific competency exam (EKG, IV, chest tube, stroke assessment, etc.)
  • Strong clinical skills in stroke care, GTT management, trauma, and critical procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment
Join a dedicated Emergency Department caring for approximately 120 patients daily, with a focus on trauma, stroke, cardiac, and infectious diseases. The unit features modern technology, a multidisciplinary team, and a supportive environment committed to your professional success.
