HARD STOP - REDIRECT FOR NO TRAVEL EXPERIENCE and/or NO EPIC EXPERIENCE The ER is large and busy. Travel experience REQURIED (HARD STOP), manager prefer to have travelers with at least 3 ER contracts completed. SCREEN if 1-2 completed travel assignments.
Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: General Emergency Department (Non-Trauma); very large and busy with high acuity; Stroke and STEMI Certified
Ratio / Census: 1:4 Ratio; 59 Bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day
Unit Systems: Epic (required), Pyxis
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
RTO: MAX 7 days
RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
Floating: Rare but within facility/scope of practice as needed
Call Requirements: Not specified
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
