Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

  • Night Shift
  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • 3x12 Hour Shifts
  • Every Other Holiday Required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have recent emergency department experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage a wide variety of emergent and acute patient conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Room experience
  • Minimum 18 months of combined permanent nursing experience in the specialty
  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at time of submission
  • Strong emergency and critical care nursing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment

Required Certifications

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)

Preferred Certification

  • TNCC

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with emergency and acute medical conditions
  • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Prioritize care based on patient acuity and changing clinical conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies and trauma situations
