Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule
- Night Shift
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3x12 Hour Shifts
- Every Other Holiday Required
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have recent emergency department experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage a wide variety of emergent and acute patient conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Room experience
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent nursing experience in the specialty
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at time of submission
- Strong emergency and critical care nursing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
Preferred Certification
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with emergency and acute medical conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Prioritize care based on patient acuity and changing clinical conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and trauma situations
