Lead Burn ICU Shift Operations: Coordinate specialized unit staffing and use independent judgment to plan shifts, manage critical daily operations, and direct nursing teams within the Burn ICU and related specialty areas.
Manage Intensive Patient Care & Productivity: Assess complex daily burn and critical care needs to distribute assignments, ensure population-appropriate care, maintain strict productivity standards, and justify variances.
Mentor & Educate Burn Care Staff: Direct, monitor, and educate nursing associates on specialized ICU protocols while providing key input into staff hiring, training, development, and clinical evaluations.
Resolve Complaints & Manage Care Quality: Address and resolve patient care complaints through established channels to maintain high standards of quality and family support in a sensitive ICU environment.
Optimize Critical Resources & Dynamics: Rapidly prioritize shifting patient and physician dynamics while facilitating the seamless availability of specialized medical materials, resources, and burn unit supplies.
