How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead daily shift operations by planning and aligning nursing resources to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

  • Empower and mentor nursing teams through real-time education, clinical direction, and performance support to foster continuous professional growth.

  • Optimize patient care assignments by accurately assessing daily unit needs and balancing productivity standards with exceptional clinical outcomes.

  • Champion patient and family advocacy by proactively addressing care concerns and resolving grievances through collaborative, established channels.

  • Manage unit resources and dynamics to ensure clinical teams have the necessary supplies, materials, and support to respond effectively to changing physician and patient needs.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
