Location: Panama City, FL

Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital

Department: Emergency Department 

Schedule: Night shift | Full-time | 6pm - 6am | Rotating weekends and holidays

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Lead and support nursing teams during assigned shifts, creating a collaborative environment that delivers safe, high-quality patient care.

  • Plan and coordinate daily staffing and assignments, ensuring patients receive the right level of care at the right time.

  • Anticipate patient and physician needs, adjusting priorities to maintain smooth, efficient unit operations.

  • Address patient care concerns promptly and professionally, reinforcing a culture of accountability and service excellence.

  • Contribute to hiring, coaching, and developing team members, helping build a strong, high-performing clinical team.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the ED.
  • Charge nurse experience.
