Summary:

  • Duration: 13 Weeks (06/23/2026 to 09/26/2026)
  • Shift: 12 Hour Rotating Days/Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
  • Location: CHCO Anschutz and within 35 miles of the assigned facility

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Open Heart Unit
  • Float to other areas of practice within clinical competence as required
  • Fulfill scheduled guaranteed hours
  • Work up to 75% of shifts on weekends

Requirements:

  • Education: BSN required; ADN considered with 6 years of experience
  • Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, PALS, ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of staff RN experience in dedicated CVPICU (pediatric CICU OH)
  • Previous travel experience required
  • Required Certifications: PALS Heartcode, ACLS Heartcode, BLS

Preferred Skills:

  • CCRN and VAD experience preferred
  • Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
