• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 5 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 4x10-Hour Days, 07:00 17:30, Monday Friday
• Call Requirement: Callback and Weekend Call Required. Call is one day a week, one weekend per 4 weeks schedule. The number can fluctuate if someone calls out sick.

Job Summary

This unit is seeking a strong RN Cath Lab Circulator for a travel contract position in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role requires demonstrated experience with complex Cath Lab procedures and the ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate within an active procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Cath Lab Circulator, covering up to 3 rooms
• Perform and assist with Cath Lab procedures including Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, and Rotablader
• Monitor PA Lines and Telemetry throughout procedures
• Perform Structural Heart & TAVR procedures
• Float to EP if required (rare); assist in the patient holding area inside the Cath Lab on occasion
• Utilize unit systems including EPIC and MAC Lab

Required Skills

• Scrub, Monitor, PA Lines and Telemetry
• Structural Heart & TAVR Experience
• Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader

Preferred Skills

• Circulate, IV Start, Conscious Sedation
• Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Coil Embolization, Filter Placement
• EKG Settings & Experience: Rhythm Interpretation
• ARRT Advanced Certification

Education Requirements

• ACLS (required)
• BLS (required)
• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Target ratio: 3 Rooms
• Scheduling type: 10-Hour Shifts, Monday Friday
• Float requirement: Floating could be required but would be rare; if traveler ever had to float, it would be to EP, but that rarely happens. Unit has a patient holding area inside the Cath Lab that the traveler may have to go to on occasion, but it is part of the Cath Lab.
• Scrubs: Provided
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)

Important Notes

• RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a contract cancellation and DNR.
• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
• Please provide your candidate's interview availability for the next 72 hours while submitting candidates to avoid holding up the approval process. Manager WILL NOT OFFER without speaking to/interviewing the candidate first.
