What Youll Do:
- Perform a variety of functions including circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring in complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Support procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, Laser atherectomy, Impella, Pnumbra, IABP, and more.
- Float seamlessly between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Bossier City locations, supporting diverse patient needs and procedure types.
- Provide expert patient assessment, vasoactive drug administration, sedation, and critical care in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients suffering from coronary artery disease, complex occlusions, valvular and structural heart conditions.
- Participate in rotating call schedules, including overnight shifts and weekends, to ensure round-the-clock care.
Qualifications Were Looking For: - Minimum of 3 years of RN experience with at least 1.5 years in the Cath Lab within the last year.
- Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate across diverse interventional procedures.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and a valid Drivers License.
- Technical skills including sterile technique, air management, vasoactive and sedation administration, and familiarity with advanced equipment such as Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, and Laser atherectomy.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical patient assessment, and ability to adapt to complex cases.
Preferred Additional Skills: - Experience with neuro interventions is a plus.
- Certification in RCIS is preferred but not mandatory.
- Hemodynamic monitoring expertise and proficiency with EMR systems like Meditech Expanse.
Educational & Experience Preferences: - Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience with substantial hands-on Cath Lab exposure.
Other Requirements: - Willingness to float between assigned facilities and support complex procedures at WKMC North.
- Ability to adhere to rotating schedules including weekends, call nights, and holidays.
- Must be comfortable performing multiple roles (scrubbing, circulating, monitoring) with a flexible and team-oriented attitude.
- Valid drivers license required to support facility transitions and patient support.
