Unit Details 22 beds (16 rooms) Average daily census: 20 Adult and geriatric patient population Common cases include burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries Special procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
Shift 12-hour nights 7:00PM 7:30 AM Every other/third weekend required
Floating within OSU required
Requirements BLS and ACLS required 2+ years of recent PCU experience required
Experience with similar patient population preferred
Previous charge RN experience preferred
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Unit Systems EPIC documentation Pyxis medication system
