Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation:
Travel Pay:From $2800/wk
Local Pay:From $53/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join an Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, perform clinical assessments, and support physicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an ambulatory vascular surgery setting
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and clinical evaluations
- Assist with procedures and patient triage
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
- Ensure adherence to all clinical and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of New York
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain/renew)
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years) in a similar size and level hospital
- Experience in ambulatory care or outpatient settings
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system
- Prior triage experience
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma hospital environment
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant clinical field (Required)
- Level 1 trauma hospital experience (Highly Desired)
