Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation:

Travel Pay:From $2800/wk
Local Pay:From $53/hr


Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join an Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, perform clinical assessments, and support physicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in an ambulatory vascular surgery setting
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and clinical evaluations
  • Assist with procedures and patient triage
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
  • Ensure adherence to all clinical and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of New York
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain/renew)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years) in a similar size and level hospital
  • Experience in ambulatory care or outpatient settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system
  • Prior triage experience
  • Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma hospital environment

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant clinical field (Required)
  • Level 1 trauma hospital experience (Highly Desired)
