Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.000001 | On Call | 1st Shift - Days | This position is for a Critical Care Outreach Nurse 

Salary Range: $53.99-$77.79

Shift Differentials: 

  • $2.50 /hour for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $10.00/hour for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $2.50/hour for working weekends
  • $6.00/hour for Outreach Nurse position 


Position Summary

The RN for AACH is responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacting with patients and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Position Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

Experience

  • 1 year of acute care experience is required
  • Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Critical Care experience is preferred

Licensure/Certifications

  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified by American Heart Association (AHA) within 4 months of hire and must be current to triage
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified by American Heart Association (AHA) within 4 months of hire and must be current to triage
  • TNCC: Trauma Nurse Core Course within 4 months of hire and must be current to triage
  • TEAM: Trauma Evaluation and Management is acceptable instead of TNCC for subsequent years
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 6 months of hire for Critical Outreach RNs

Preferred Certifications

  • CEN: Certified Emergency Nurse
  • CPEN: Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse
  • TCRN: Trauma Certified Registered Nurse
  • CFRN: Certified Flight Registered Nurse
  • CCRN: Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse
