Job Title: 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN) ESY Summer Program
Student: Female (1:1 support)
Program Dates: June 15 July 9
Schedule: MondayThursday, 9:30 AM 12:00 PM (includes transportation support)
Location: Buffalo, MN 55313
Compensation: Starting at $45/hour (W-2)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 1:1 assignment supporting a medically fragile student during the districts Extended School Year (ESY) summer program. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide individualized care in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 nursing care throughout the students school day
Monitor medical and respiratory status
Administer medications as needed
Perform seizure monitoring
Manage G-tube care
Support the student within the classroom environment
Assist with transportation as needed
Carry out additional duties as assigned by school administration
Ensure all care is delivered in compliance with State Board of Education policies and applicable nursing practice laws
Qualifications:
Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
Prior pediatric experience preferred
