Registered Line Technician (RLT) – Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Position Summary:
The Registered Line Technician (RLT) provides direct one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The RLT implements individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collects accurate data to support measurable client progress.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA treatment programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide direct therapy in clinic, home, school, or community settings as assigned.
- Utilize evidence-based ABA strategies including discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), task analysis, and behavior reduction procedures.
- Accurately collect and record session data in accordance with treatment protocols.
- Assist in skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social skills, adaptive behavior, play skills, and daily living skills.
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address maladaptive behaviors safely and consistently.
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervising BCBA and team members regarding client progress and concerns.
- Attend required supervision meetings and ongoing training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred).
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential (if applicable per state regulations) or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Ability to pass background check and maintain required certifications.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
