Dental Hygienist – Littleton, CO | Blanchard and Richardson Family Dentistry
Blanchard and Richardson Family Dentistry is a long-standing, patient-focused practice serving South Denver since the late 1970s. With modern technology and a strong moral foundation, we provide high-quality dentistry without over-treatment. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative team.
Schedule
Full-time (4 days per week)
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (no lunch)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Take and interpret dental radiographs
- Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
- Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the doctor
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Discuss and reinforce treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Colorado (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to administer local anesthesia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience and familiarity with Curve software is a plus
Pay & Compensation
- $63 to $65 per hour (based on experience)
