YOUR ROLEYour typical responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine dental cleanings to eliminate plaque, tartar, and calculus
- Applying fluoride treatments and sealants for tooth protection
- Taking digital x-rays
- Evaluating patients' oral health and identifying disease indicators
- Educating patients on effective oral hygiene practices
- Discussing treatment options and preventive care with patients
- Assisting dentists during procedures as necessary
- Accurately documenting patient care and treatment plans
- Ensuring proper sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
- Maintaining patient records and medical histories
- Adhering to infection control and safety standards
- Staying updated with dental regulations and industry best practices
