Location: Fort Myers, Florida

Assignment Details

  • Contract Type: Travel Assignment
  • Specialty Department: Cath Lab
  • Shift Type: 10-Hour Day Shifts
  • Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts Per Week
  • On-Call Required
    • 1 weekend per month
    • 1–2 weekdays per week
    • Typically 8–9 call days per month

    • Travelers may float to sister campuses as needed

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) for an ASAP Cath Lab travel assignment in Fort Myers, FL.

This role is ideal for a skilled Cath Lab professional with strong invasive cardiovascular procedure experience and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced procedural environment. Travelers are expected to work alongside core staff and integrate into a collaborative team culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during cardiovascular invasive procedures in the Cath Lab
  • Operate and monitor Cath Lab imaging and procedural equipment
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond to clinical changes
  • Maintain sterile field and infection prevention standards
  • Assist with hemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation
  • Ensure proper handling and preparation of procedural supplies and equipment
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and Cath Lab team members
  • Float to sister campuses as required based on staffing needs
  • Maintain compliance with patient safety and hospital protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Active RCIS certification required at submission
    • Profiles without RCIS certification will not be considered
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
  • BLS Certification required
  • Strong cardiovascular invasive procedure experience required
  • Ability to take call and respond appropriately during emergency cases
  • Comfortable floating between campuses if needed
