Qualifications:
- High school diploma and experience with working with children with disabilities, including those with autism, preferred;
- At least 60 credits of study at an institute of higher education, or an Associate's degree or a passing score on the ParaPro exam;
- Maintain Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT);
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience in developing and evaluating programs based upon the principles of ABA;
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents;
- Understanding of and familiarity with the characteristics for a wide range of disabilities;
- Demonstrated management, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Hourly rate: $33.50, commensurate with experience.
