Job Description: We're seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You'll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. Responsibilities:

• Work effectively with children
• Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
• Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients
• Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
• Maintain training materials and supplies
• Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources

Job Type: Part-Time (25-30 Hours)

Salary:$24.00 - $28.00 per hourSchedule:

Summer Schedule:

Monday: 9-1pm , 1:30-4:30pm

Tuesday: 11-4:30pm

Wednesday: 9-12pm, 12:30-4:30pm

Thursday: 9-1:00pm, 1:30-4:30pm

Friday: 9-12pm 

Fall Schedule:

Monday: 8-1pm, 1:30-4:30pm,

Tuesday: 11-4:30pm

Thursday: 3:30-6:30pm

Friday: 3:30-6:30pm

Saturday: 9-2pm 

Work Location: In-Person / Client Home - Smithfield, VA

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience with children and strong people skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
