Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work one-on-one with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and support skill development. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as written by a BCBA
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settings
  • Collect accurate data & documentation on client progress and behavior
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and social skills development
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with the BACB
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, caregivers, and team members
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Completion of RBT 40-hour training
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients and their families
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans effectively
  • Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
  • Understanding of behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques
