The Position: Full-Time


The Behavior Technician will provide one-on-one applied behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults under the clinical supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Behavior Technician will follow individualized treatment plans to deliver quality therapeutic services.


Responsibilities:


  • Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by BCBA
  • Collect accurate data and complete daily notes and programming sheets
  • Follow individualized behavior plans and treatment plans
  • Complete all programing requests from BCBA
  • Assist in providing a safe environment
  • Attend weekly meetings and training as requested
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
  • Must be able to pass background checks, TB test, and a drug test
  • Must maintain RBT certification (if not yet RBT, we will provide the training to become an RBT)
  • Provide a resume or curriculum vita that includes at least three professional references
  • Ability to handle the physical aspects of the job: lifting, bending, standing, crouching, twisting/turning, weight bearing, ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities

  • Effective interpersonal communications and the ability to work well with others as a team
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to keep accurate records and perform administrative tasks

Preferred Skills:


  • Bachelors degree in related field is highly preferred (ABA, Behavioral Health, Education, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, etc.)
  • Computer knowledge including Windows and Google applications
  • At least two years of experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors, skill deficits, and/or learning deficits
