Required Skills:
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the BACB
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with IDD or autism spectrum disorder
- Bilingual skills, especially Spanish and English
- Knowledge of data collection and progress monitoring tools
- Familiarity with California state regulations and best practices in behavior intervention
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience as an RBT or in a related behavioral health role is advantageous
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass background checks and clearance as required per California state regulations
- Willingness to travel within assigned areas for client sessions
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred, but this position is non-driving
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
