Registered Behavior Technician - IDD - California
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) across California. In this pivotal role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions within a compassionate environment to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Required Skills:
- Valid RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, including Ukeru, Proact, and CPR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to implement behavior plans accurately and ethically
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable demeanor
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in crisis homes or residential facilities
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish and English
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to disability services
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or related field is a plus
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with IDD or in a behavioral support setting
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel to multiple facility locations within California
- Certification in CPR and Proact according to facility and program standards
- Must pass background check and have reliable transportation
