The Regional Vice-President, CVE (Catering, Venues & Events) will lead strategic growth and operational excellence across the division, driving revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in the premium hospitality space who can foster strong client partnerships and build high-performing teams. This position has a highly entrepreneurial scope and is responsible for managing a portfolio of distinct businesses, each with its own operational and cultural dynamics.

  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrates the ability to set clear direction, align teams, and drive growth across diverse markets.
  • Operational Excellence: Experienced in managing complex, high-profile catering, venues, and events operations with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
  • Innovation & Client Experience: Passionate about introducing creative solutions that enhance culinary execution and hospitality, ensuring memorable client experiences.
  • Culture & Values: Embodies Compass' core obsession; safety, quality, growth, and culture, and integrates them across the teams, into every decision and initiative.
  • Change Agent: Committed to continuous improvement, leveraging innovation to achieve operational efficacy and sustainable business growth.
  • Financial leader: Increase revenue and profitability by developing budget forecasts and operation plans, assessing and analyzing operational capabilities, and ensuring adherence to budget
  • Cross‑functional leadership: Beyond operations, this role includes direct oversight of sales and marketing functions. Prior experience in these areas is essential.
  • Active business development: The RVP will play a hands‑on role in driving growth, including leading RFP capture, shaping content, and guiding strategic initiatives.
  • Cultural adaptability: Success requires the ability to navigate and manage the unique nuances of multiple entities, some of which operate primarily as independent businesses.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of related management experience in a multi-unit/multi-faceted facility and food service environment.
  • Must have proven financial management experience within a matrixed organization managing a comparable-sized portfolio.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field. MBA or master's degree in a related field an asset.
  • A willingness to travel
