Regional Services Director - ILS, SLS, CFS 

Location: Santa Cruz, CA

Salary: $90,000-$110,000 DOE Plus Full Benefits

Position Summary

Thrive Support Services is expanding into the Santa Cruz Regional Center catchment area and we're looking for the right person to lead that launch. This isn't a position for someone who wants to manage an established program. It's a position for someone who wants to build one.

As our Regional Services Director in Santa Cruz, you will be the first Thrive presence in the region. You'll launch our Independent Living Services (ILS) program, establish relationships with the Santa Cruz Regional Center, and hire and develop a team that shares our commitment to person-centered, community-based support for adults with I/DD. Over time, you'll expand into SLS, CFS, and In-Home Respite as the office grows.

Regional Services Director Duties Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing:

• Launch and grow Thrive's programs in the Santa Cruz Regional Center catchment area, starting with ILS and scaling from there
• Build relationships with Regional Center service coordinators, intake staff, and community partners from day one
• Hire, supervise, and develop Program Managers as each service line comes online
• Ensure full compliance with DDS regulations, Title 17, vendorization requirements, and Regional Center standards
• Manage regional billing, staffing, and service authorization to meet program performance targets
• Report monthly to the COO on enrollment, operations, compliance, and growth milestones
• Serve as the face of Thrive Support Services in Santa Cruz County

Regional Services Director Qualifications:

• You have 3–5+ years of leadership experience in I/DD, social services, or community-based care
• You know the California Regional Center system and can navigate it confidently
• You have built or launched programs or teams and you know what that takes
• You are driven by mission and hold yourself to a high standard without being told to
• You are an exceptional communicator - with staff, participants, families, and government partners
• You live in or are committed to relocating to Santa Cruz County

• Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually depending on experience

Other Requirements:

• Valid California driver's license
• Current vehicle registration and use of a vehicle in good running condition during work hours.
• Valid automobile insurance for that vehicle and all passengers that meets the minimum coverage requirements of the agency which is (100k/300k bodily injury liability)
